The Title of the concert comes from Elizabeth Raum’s Evolution which features many of our musicians as soloists. Haydn’s early symphony No.7 also brings many solo opportunities from the man who evolved music to substantiate the symphonic form. Beethoven not only evolved music of Haydn’s style, he was a revolutionary in what he brought to the art. Bruch was really a conservative but in creating his famous violin concerto, often called the “the apex of the romantic tradition”, he evolved the concerto’s rigid form. We are pleased to introduce a new star Violinist on the Canadian and International scene.

Saturday January 28th, 7:30pm OSCVI Regional Auditorium. 1550 8th Street East Owen Sound.
