Our History

The Georgian Bay Symphony Clarinet Choir originally started March 4th, 2005 by Robert Tite, principal clarinet of the Georgian Bay Symphony. It was created in conjunction with the GBS Music School and held rehearsals at the Southampton United Church. Members of the group included clarinet players from the GBS as well as players in the community.

Many of the places they've performed over the years include the Southampton United Church, Port Elgin United Church, OSCVI Auditorium, Central Westside United Church, First United Church, Queen's Park Bandshell, Tom Thompson Art Gallery and many others.

Now

Currently the group rehearses at Central Westside United Church in Owen Sound on Wednesday night's at 7pm. The group focuses rehearsals over the summertime and have a blast learning new music.

This year's performance will be at Central Westside United Church on August 18th at 10:15am.
