Important Announcement: Concert Date Changes

Due to the recent announcement by the government of Ontario, the Georgian Bay Symphony is rescheduling our concerts for the remainder of the season.

Our February concert "Beautiful Motion" is being rescheduled to March 26th.

There will be a special digital presentation in February. Maestro Koh will be selecting the most romantic pieces from our last season of virtual concerts for you to enjoy on Valentine's Day. A link for this concert will be made available at that time.

Tentative Schedule for the remainder of the season:

February 12, 2022 Maestro's Romantic Valentine Picks (Virtual) Maestro Koh will be selecting the most romantic pieces from our last season of virtual concerts for you to enjoy on Valentine's Day.

March 26, 2022 Beautiful Motion (Harmony Centre) Works by Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, Mozart, and a short contemporary Canadian piece. (Rescheduled from Feb)

May 7, 2022 Spring Energy (Harmony Centre) Violin: Mark Fewer. Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 2 and new commissioned Canadian work. Fewer will perform Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending and Saint-Saëns’ Introduction and Rondo Capriccio.

June TBA, 2022 Reunion With Beethoven (Harmony Centre) Beethoven’s 5th Symphony and Piano Concerto No. 5 performed by guest pianist Younggun Kim along with a short contemporary Canadian piece.
